The Catholic Bishops' Conference of Thailand, in partnership with Saeng Tham College and the Jesuits in Thailand, jointly established the 'Saeng Tham College, Xavier Chiang Rai Campus.' On Thursday, December 14, 2023, they officially drafted a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize their cooperation. There are two main purposes emphasized:
1. To elevate the Xavier Learning Community into a higher education institution of the Church of Thailand, there is a collaboration between The Catholic Bishops' Conference of Thailand via Saeng Tham College and the Jesuits in Thailand aimed at developing Christians and contributing to the country's population.
2. To enhance educational prospects for the younger ethnic generation in Chiang Rai and neighboring provinces, particular focus is given to employing English as a means to integrate knowledge with religion and culture, fostering enriched learning experiences.
